Trump to meet 20 leaders at UN summit

US President Donald Trump announced that he will hold a series of meetings within the framework of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly. According to him, he plans to meet with around twenty heads of state. He stated this while answering journalists’ questions at the White House.

— We will talk with many leaders, about twenty. Everyone wants to meet, and with some of them we will, — Trump said.

For reference, the main events of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly will consist of general political debates, scheduled for September 23–27 and 29. Representatives of delegations from 195 countries are expected to deliver speeches.
