Countries with the longest and shortest life expectancy in the world have been announced

Specialists of the Visualcapitalist portal have prepared a new infographic on the average life expectancy of countries based on official UN data. The results of this analysis clearly showed how much human life varies in different regions.

According to UN statistics, Monaco has the longest life expectancy in the world. In this country, people live an average of 86.5 years. San Marino (85.8 years) and Hong Kong (85.6 years) are also at the top of the list. In these countries, the high level of medical care, lifestyle, and economic stability are noted as the main factors in the longevity of the population.

But at the bottom of the list, a completely different picture is observed. In some African countries, life expectancy is very short. In Nigeria, for example, this figure was only 54.6 years. A similar situation was recorded in Chad (55.2 years) and the Central African Republic (57.7 years). According to experts, the main reasons for such low indicators are poverty, weak medical services, and political instability.

Russia ranked 102nd in the world ranking with a 73.3-year indicator. With this indicator, it lagged behind the USA (79.5 years) and China (78 years). Experts emphasize that the lower average life expectancy in Russia is influenced by healthcare system problems and the lifestyle of the population.

The final conclusions show that human life in the world manifests itself with great differences in different regions. While this indicator is high in developed countries, in some developing countries, life expectancy has sharply decreased.
