In India, parents tried to bury a three-day-old baby alive, but local residents managed to save the child. This was reported by The Times of India.
It was reported that the child's father worked as a teacher in a public school, and according to the law, he is prohibited from having more than two children. The birth of her fourth child put her at risk of being fired. Therefore, he took his wife and baby to the forest and hid them under a pile of stones.
However, the villagers heard the baby crying and immediately removed the stones and rescued the baby. Then he was taken to the hospital. Police arrested a 38-year-old father and his 28-year-old wife. It was previously reported that they had also hidden the birth of their third child from the authorities.
Previously, reports emerged of a 20-day-old girl being hospitalized in critical condition after being buried alive in Uttar Pradesh. This baby was accidentally found by a herder: he heard a cry from underground while grazing goats, and when he walked along the direction of the cry, the baby's small hands were visible above the ground. After that, local residents were notified, and police officers pulled the child out from under the soil.
