Protesters in Tbilisi massively broke through the walls of the presidential residence.

In Tbilisi, a group of protesters broke down the wall of the residence of Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili and entered the courtyard of the residence. According to TV Pirveli, the protesters' actions created a tense situation around the residence, and pyrotechnics similar to explosions were used at the scene. Clashes between the guards defending the headquarters and the protesters continued for a long time.

The protesters further strained relations by throwing stones at police and using pyrotechnics, which created additional risks and increased the risk of gunfire and injuries. Rapid joint forces arrived at the scene, and reports of numerous arrests were circulated. Police officers were forced to use pepper and water sprayers to calm the protesters.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia officially declared the protest illegal and stated that measures would be taken within the framework of the law. The government is expected to initiate investigations into the causes of the clashes and establish criminal liability. It is also reported that additional security measures are being taken to strengthen security in the city and protect state facilities.
