US President Donald Trump announced Kazakhstan's accession to the "Ebrahim Pact." He announced this during an official lunch at the White House with the leaders of Central Asian countries.
As is known, the "Abrahamic Accords" are an initiative aimed at establishing relations and normalizing diplomatic relations between Israel and countries where Islam is predominant.
Although Kazakhstan has already established full diplomatic and economic relations with Israel, this decision is more symbolic.
Trump noted that during the meeting, he spoke with President Tokayev of Kazakhstan and the leaders of four other Central Asian states. It is noted that this dialogue took place within the framework of efforts to strengthen US influence in the region and strengthen its position at a time when the influence of Russia and China is growing.
