Tragic Raid: 9 Children and One Woman Killed in Pakistan Strike!

In Afghanistan's Khost province, ten civilians, including nine young children and one woman, were killed as a result of an air strike carried out by Pakistani military forces. This was officially announced by the spokesperson for the "Taliban" government, Zabiullah Mujahid, on Tuesday morning.

According to Mujahid, yesterday at 12:00 AM midnight, Pakistani invading forces bombed the house of a local citizen, Waliat Khan, in the Gerbzwou district of Khost province. As a result, 5 boys and 4 girls were killed, along with one woman, and the house was completely destroyed. Additionally, Pakistan also conducted raids in Kunar and Paktika provinces, injuring four more civilians.

Reason for the Attack and Diplomatic Crisis

These bloody raids were carried out one day after the suicide attack organized on a paramilitary building in the Pakistani city of Peshawar. Pakistan had lost three police officers in that terrorist attack.

In recent times, bloody clashes are frequently observed on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Although the parties signed a ceasefire agreement in Doha last month, subsequent peace negotiations ended without a short-term deal.

The main obstacle to the negotiations remained the disagreement over the activities of armed groups hostile to Pakistan operating in Afghan territory. For now, the Pakistani army and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have not commented on the situation.
