The US State Department has temporarily suspended the issuance of visas to individuals holding Afghan passports. According to the official statement, this decision was made to ensure national and public security.
This measure came into effect following an attack near the White House in Washington. During the attack, two National Guard soldiers were injured, one of whom died in the hospital. The perpetrator of the attack was arrested at the scene.
Based on the situation, the US Secretary of Defense announced a plan to increase the size of the National Guard. According to President Donald Trump's order, an additional 500 soldiers will be sent to Washington. These measures are intended to strengthen security and protect the public.
