The investigation into the tragic death of Turkish singer Gul Tut has taken a new turn: her daughter, Tugan Ulkem Gulter, has been arrested on charges of “intentional murder.” This was reported by “Akdeniz Gercek.”
According to the information, the artist known by the stage name “Gullu” died after falling from the balcony of her home in the Cinarcik district of Yalova province under unknown circumstances. During the investigation, Gulter and her friend Sultan Nur oglu, who was in the room on the day of the incident, were questioned.
After giving statements to the prosecutor’s office, Gulter was officially charged and taken into custody. Sultan Nur oglu was placed under house arrest. Three other individuals detained earlier within the investigation were released after providing testimony to the prosecutor.
Gulter, who had been taken to the hospital for a medical examination, was transported directly to the courthouse due to a protesting group waiting for her at the entrance. People gathered in front of the Yalova courthouse voiced their discontent and shouted slogans against her.
It is reminded that the singer Gul Tut died on September 26 after falling from the window of the covered terrace on the sixth floor of a building on Vali Aki Street, Harmanlar neighborhood, Cinarcik district of Yalova province. The funeral took place in Istanbul.
