A piece of news that could cause a major stir in European football has emerged. According to reports, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman intends to purchase the famous Spanish football club Barcelona.
Journalist François Gallardo stated on social media that the Crown Prince is planning to submit a massive offer of €10 billion for the Catalan club. This was reported by Oxu.Az.
However, according to sources, Barcelona’s management may react negatively to such a sale deal and could block the process. It is emphasized that the club is committed to preserving its independence.
At the same time, Goal reports that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund is also considering the option of investing not in the full acquisition of the club, but in some of its commercial divisions.
