"Drug" in a Gift: Large smuggling of Christmas masks uncovered in the USA

Police in Kentucky have seized over 25 kilograms of methamphetamine hidden in holiday boxes.

Law enforcement officers stopped a car driven by 23-year-old Jacob Talamantes, suspected of drug trafficking. When a specially trained dog pointed to a prohibited substance in the car, suspicious boxes wrapped in Christmas gift paper were found in the trunk.

During the investigation, it was revealed that 55 pounds (approximately 25 kg) of methamphetamine was placed inside the "gifts." The young man from Nebraska admitted that he brought this deadly poison from Iowa and intended to sell it. Currently, he is charged with illegal drug trafficking.
