General Kirillov's killer was sentenced to life imprisonment

On December 17, 2024, the commander of the Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Protection Troops of the Russian Armed Forces, General Igor Kirillov, and his adjutant, Ilya Polikarpov, were killed in Moscow. This incident caused a great stir in the Russian public.

According to the court's decision, Uzbek citizen Ahmadjon Qurbonov, found guilty of the murder, was sentenced to life imprisonment. According to the investigation, he left a pre-mined scooter in front of the residential entrance at the direction of the Ukrainian special services.

It was reported that he was promised $100,000 in cash and the opportunity to obtain a visa to the European Union for committing this crime.

Additionally, three other individuals found to have participated in planning and organizing the crime were sentenced to 18 to 25 years in prison.

The court issued a decision on this case and imposed a strict punishment on the perpetrators within the framework of the law.
