Trump calls meeting with Zelenskyy “very good”

On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, U.S. President Donald Trump held a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The U.S. leader described the talks as “very good.”
In what format the meeting was held
According to reports, the two leaders spoke behind closed doors for about an hour. After the meeting, Zelenskyy’s adviser Dmytro Lytvyn also praised the negotiations.
Trump’s main signal focused on ending the war
Reuters noted that after speaking with Zelenskyy, Trump, in a message addressed to Russian President Vladimir Putin, emphasized that “the war must end.”
What Zelenskyy’s team added
Ukrainian presidential spokesperson Serhii Nykyforov said that at the end of the meeting the two presidents also spoke briefly in private.
