Ukraine president threatens politician blocking aid

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his dissatisfaction with the blocking of a 90 billion euro financial aid package planned by the European Union. According to him, the resistance of a single state within the union poses a serious threat to the country's entire economy. Zelensky used a sharp tone in addressing this issue, emphasizing that the Armed Forces of Ukraine could talk to the person blocking the aid in their own style.

Currently, these funds are vital for Ukraine, and there are no alternative sources to replace them. Experts believe that Hungary's position on this matter is linked not only to political disagreements but also to energy interests. In particular, Budapest is striving to maintain raw material supplies through the "Druzhba" oil pipeline.

It should be noted that the Hungarian government is opposing not only the financial aid package but also the 20th package of sanctions being prepared against Russia. Such disagreements within the European Union are delaying the aid that Kyiv expects from international partners. The Ukrainian leadership is calling on European countries for solidarity, noting that financial support is the only way to maintain the country's stability in wartime conditions.
