US military may have targeted Iranian school

A missile strike on a girls' school in the Iranian city of Minab is causing a major stir in the international community. According to Reuters, citing two US officials, the possibility that the US military is behind this attack is being investigated. These are preliminary findings, and the investigation process is not yet complete. Experts do not rule out that new evidence may emerge in the future and the situation may change.
US officials have not provided specific information on what weapons were used in the attack or why the school was targeted. However, The New York Times clarified the situation, writing that the US Air Force may have actually been targeting a base of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Perhaps due to a technical error or incorrect coordinates, the strike hit the school building.
The US Department of Defense has so far only confirmed that an investigation into the incident is underway. According to official Iranian sources, 165 people died as a result of this horrific event that occurred on February 28. The world community is demanding a clear and transparent investigation into this tragedy.
