The war in the Middle East increased Russia's oil revenues

According to the Financial Times, Russia is receiving additional large profits from oil trade due to the war in the Middle East.

According to the publication, after the escalation of the situation, Russia receives an additional oil revenue of about $150 million daily. It is noted that instability in the energy market and supply risks are causing this situation.

According to estimates, during the first 12 days of the war, the Russian state budget received an additional $1.3 billion to $1.9 billion.

It was also noted that demand for Russian oil is growing at an unexpected level. If the average price of oil on the market remains around $70-80 per barrel, additional revenues to the Russian budget in March could reach $3.3 billion to $4.9 billion.
