Macron has proposed a global alliance against US and Chinese hegemony

French President Emmanuel Macron has called for middle-class countries to unite against the hegemony of the United States and China during his Asia tour. Macron, who visited South Korea and Japan, also discussed the disruption of shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz and the sharp increase in energy prices as a result of US and Israeli actions against Iran.

Macron stressed the importance of cooperation with South Korea and Japan, as well as Australia, Brazil, Canada and India. These countries have the right to work together in the fields of artificial intelligence, space, energy, nuclear energy and defense. In his opinion, the goal is to resist the victorious power of the United States and China and not become vassals.

“Our goal is not to become vassals to the hegemony of two great powers,” Macron said at a meeting in Seoul.

Macron has made it clear in his political positions that France does not want to be subordinate to China or accept the US’s arbitrary policies. He has also criticized the US and Israeli attacks on Iran as violating international law and stressed that the issue should be resolved diplomatically.

After France closed its skies to US warplanes, US President Donald Trump is known to have had mixed reactions. Macron has also strongly opposed the Trump administration’s attempts to break up the European Union.
