An informal and entertaining moment occurred during an official dinner held in Yerevan to mark the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron. Videos circulating on social media showed Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan playing the drums while Macron sang. The famous jazz musician Vaghan Ayrapetyan was also seen playing the piano. It is reported that the French President participated in this performance as a soloist. Armenian President Vaghan Khachaturyan accompanied on the piano. Pashinyan, meanwhile, kept rhythm for the ensemble on the drums. Together they performed one of the works of the famous French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour. The evening was held on 4 May at the presidential residence and took place as an informal gathering of heads of state.
