A year ago, General Motors introduced the fourth generation of the Chevrolet Equinox, the 2025 model, featuring a new design and interior. Now, the 2026 model is on its way, offering minor updates and a new color.
According to GM Authority, mass production of the 2026 Chevrolet Equinox will begin on March 17, 2025, with dealerships starting to accept pre-orders on January 30.
The 2026 Chevrolet Equinox debuts a new body color called Polar White (paint code G4J), replacing the Iridescent Pearl Tricoat (paint code G1W), which has been part of the Equinox palette since 2016. Polar White will only be available for the Activ and RS trims, not the base LT trim. LT will only come in Summit White (paint code GAZ). Polar White will require an additional cost, similar to the $995 extra charge for Iridescent Pearl Tricoat on the 2025 model.
The fourth-generation Chevrolet Equinox is built on the GM D2 platform and features a 1.5-liter I4 LSD turbocharged engine. The vehicle is manufactured at GM's San Luis Potosi plant in Mexico. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
