AvtoVAZ prepares for a new crossover: debut this summer

Russian automaker AvtoVAZ is set to launch a new crossover based on the Lada Vesta platform. Company president Maksim Sokolov announced that the official unveiling will take place in June 2025, with mass production starting in 2026.

"In June 2025, we will host the global premiere of a new crossover, developed by Russian engineers on the Vesta platform. The mass production is set to begin in 2026," said Sokolov.

AvtoVAZ has not yet disclosed further details on its future model lineup, citing commercial secrecy. However, the company operates major manufacturing facilities in Tolyatti and Izhevsk.

Currently, AvtoVAZ offers six model families:
Lada Vesta
Lada Largus
Lada Granta
Lada Niva Legend
Lada Niva Travel
