The Russian Lada Sport Club community has released official images of the new Lada Iskra Cup sports car. This model stands out with its aggressive aerodynamic elements and a completely new exterior design. The car's color was chosen as a tribute to the first VAZ-2101 race car that participated in the 1971 Tour de Europe. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
The official presentation of the new racing model is scheduled for the PMEF-2026 forum, which will take place in early June 2026. At that event, all technical specifications and dynamic capabilities of the car will be revealed.
According to preliminary information, the Lada Iskra Cup will feature a 1.6-liter turbo engine with over 200 horsepower under the hood. This powertrain is paired with a sequential gearbox, ensuring high performance on the race track.
Also, other Lada brand novelties are expected to be showcased during the forum, including the production version of the Lada Azimut crossover and the Niva Legend model equipped with a 1.8-liter engine.
