The best quality cars in China in 2024 have been identified: leading brands have been revealed

A quality rating of cars sold in China in 2024 has been announced. In this rating, the quality of cars was assessed by the number of various defects and breakdowns. Each brand was given penalty points, and the car with fewer points is considered more reliable and of higher quality.

The first place in the rating was taken by the premium brand Voyah, which belongs to the state-owned Dongfeng concern. Cars of this brand scored the least number of defects and breakdowns, gaining 153 penalty points.

The second place went to Dongfeng Honda cars, a joint venture with Dongfeng, with 156 points. In third place is the world-famous Volvo brand, which scored 157 points.

The fourth place on the list was taken by the GAC Hyptec car with 158 points, while the fifth place was taken by the premium brand Wey of the Great Wall concern (160 points).

Other quality brands that entered the top 10 rating include GAC Trumpchi (161 points), GAC Aion (162 points), Jetta (163 points), Changan Nevo (167 points) and YangWang (170 points).

Interestingly, BYD, the most popular Chinese brand and Tesla's main competitor, took only 26th place, gaining 191 points.

The well-known brands that are also well-known in Uzbekistan - Chery, Haval, Geely and Changan - remained in much lower places in the rating. For example, Chery ranked 51st (224 points), Haval ranked 42nd (210 points), Geely ranked 27th (192 points), and Changan ranked 30th (194 points).

This rating serves as an important guide for those planning to buy quality and reliable cars in the Chinese market.
