Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Transport issued an official warning to businesses engaged in international road freight transport, reported nova24.uz.
The ministry reminded that multilateral permits are valid only for the Tashkent–Andijan–Osh–Irkeshtam–Kashgar route and back. These documents were introduced to develop the transport corridor between the three countries.
However, officials have noted an increase in improper use of these permits — specifically, for transportation only between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, bypassing China.
Such use violates established regulations. Permits used off-route will be considered invalid, and violators may face restricted access to future permits.
