Cases of Uzbek international freight drivers being added to Russia’s “blacklist” are increasing. The Migration Agency has issued an official warning about this.
According to data, by 2025, about 25 percent of international road freight transport in Russia is carried out by Uzbek drivers. However, failure to comply with migration and border regulations has resulted in many citizens being included in the list of “persons banned from entry” maintained by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The agency called on drivers to strictly follow several important rules. In particular, when crossing the border, the migration card must be filled out correctly — in the “purpose of visit” field, drivers should indicate “official” or “transit,” not “tourism.” In addition, drivers must register for migration within 15 working days after entering Russia.
It is also essential to monitor the 90/365 rule regularly. If the vehicle breaks down or a force majeure situation occurs, it is necessary to obtain an official act or certificate.
“Every action must be supported by an official document. Repeated violations may result in a ban on entering Russia for a period of 3 to 10 years,” the agency’s statement said.
Experts urge drivers to treat their documents seriously and to carefully review all requirements before traveling.
