Lady Gaga draws 2.5M fans in record-breaking show
Pop star Lady Gaga set a new world record by drawing 2.5 million spectators to her concert in Rio de Janeiro, Ulysmedia.kz reported.

On May 3, a free concert held at Copacabana Beach became the largest solo performance by a female artist in history. It has been officially recorded in the Guinness World Records.

With this, Lady Gaga surpassed the previous record held by Madonna, set on May 4, 2024, at the same location.

This concert marked Gaga’s first visit to Brazil in 13 years, and her return was nothing short of triumphant. The scale of the show and the size of the audience exceeded all expectations.

The absolute record for concert attendance still belongs to British singer Rod Stewart, whose New Year’s Eve show in 1994 at the same beach drew over 3.5 million people.
