Robert Pattinson received “Batman” script in secret bag

The new “Batman” movie script was delivered to Robert Pattinson in an unusual way. According to director Matt Reeves, to keep the film’s plot secret, the actor received the script in a “bag with a combination lock.” He told Variety magazine about this.

According to the director, the script was placed in a special bag to ensure complete confidentiality: “We literally put it in a bag with a combination lock.” The script was delivered to Pattinson in New York, and after reading it, he returned it to the secret bag. Reeves added: “We truly trust Rob, he is the best actor.”

Earlier, in August, it was announced that filming of the “Batman” sequel starring Robert Pattinson would begin in spring 2026. The film’s release date had been postponed several times.

Amid growing audience dissatisfaction, the director and DC Studios CEO James Gunn stated that “The Batman: The Movie: The Last Batman” protects the long gap between the first and second installments. Thus, all measures are being taken to keep the script secret and increase audience interest.
