Netflix released the trailer for “Stranger Things” Season 5

At the 77th Primetime Emmy ceremony, Netflix presented the trailer for the 5th season of “Stranger Things”. Fans were also delighted to see that, along with Vecna, Eleven, and other characters, the series will now carry a TV-MA rating – meaning this season is intended exclusively for mature audiences.

Previously, the show aired with a TV-14 rating, and only in the finale of the fourth season did it briefly rise to an “adult” level. Now, in the very first seconds of the new trailer, the TV-MA label appears in the upper left corner. According to the creators, Season 5 will be the darkest and most emotionally intense yet.

Fans are already speculating: even the most experienced viewers can expect shocking losses and dramatic scenes. The plot promises major confrontations for the town of Hawkins – with Vecna possibly gaining dominance across other worlds, and the stakes being higher than ever. The Duffer brothers emphasized that the fifth season will be nearly equivalent to eight feature-length films. The story will continue to explore predatory creatures from the parallel world and their impact on the daily lives of teenagers and adults.

The season will be released in three parts: the first part on November 26, the second on December 25, and the final episodes on December 31. This way, Netflix engages viewers in a full series marathon during the holiday season.
