Charles, Oliver, and Mabel are returning - this time not to New York City. Hulu has officially confirmed its return for the sixth season of the popular series "Only Murder in the Building" which will be filmed in London.
In the fifth season finale, fans saw a detective trio featuring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez reveal the intricate murder of Arconia goalkeeper Lester. Although the investigation has been completed, the characters still have some unanswered questions. The new season promises a new intrigue and a completely different landscape.
"Well, it seems our family is going to London," wrote Selena Gomez on her banned social media account, thanking fans for their support. "I want to thank our team and fans for allowing us to film the sixth season! We are very grateful that we were able to give you any joy."
According to shourayner John Hoffman, the sixth season will be a new phase for the series:
"London is like New York's second city. We take our stories and place them in a new cultural environment, and the three of us feel like fish in foreign water."
The creators promised to maintain the series' unique comedy style and "cozy crime" atmosphere, while adding British charm and new characters.
