With the exception of the films "Alice in Wonderland," "The Magician of the Emerald City: The Yellow Brick Road," "Finist: The First Knight," "The Prophet: The Story of Alexander Pushkin," "Batya-2: Grandfather," "Kraken," "August," and "Gorinich," all of them earned more than 1 billion rubles.
The premiere of the film "Alice in Wonderland" took place on October 23. The film was directed by Yuri Khmelnytsky ("Ice 3"), the screenplay was written by Karina Chuvikova ("The Chemistry Between Us"). The main roles were played by Anna Peresild, Milos Bykovich, Paulina Andreeva, Irina Gorbacheva, Sergey Burunov, Kristina Babushkina, and others.
According to the plot, a Moscow schoolgirl, Alice, quarrels with her classmates and parents and ends up in Wonderland. The inhabitants of this country seem to him like a fairytale version of the people around him. The film was inspired by Lewis Carroll's book of the same name.
