The President expressed condolences to the memory of the great artist Mirabbos Mirzaakhmedov

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed deep condolences to the family and relatives of Mirabbos Mirzaakhmedov, the esteemed director and television journalist of the country, on the occasion of his passing. In the letter of condolence, the head of state emphasized that the great creator had held a special place in the hearts of the people for many years.
Mirabbos Mirzaakhmedov, who passed away on November 19 at the age of 84, was known to many primarily through the program “Father’s Words — the Eyes of Wisdom.” For more than 40 years, he brought new spirit, a sincere voice and deep meaning connected with life issues to this program, making thousands of viewers reflect.
In the condolence message, the President, as well as Senate Chairwoman Tanzila Norboyeva, Speaker of the Legislative Chamber Nuriddin Ismoilov, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and S. Turdiev emphasized the significant role of the late director in the development of national television. They noted that his memory would always be preserved with great respect in the hearts of the people.
Mirabbos Mirzaakhmedov was born on September 30, 1941, in the capital. After receiving education in theatre and fine arts, he began his career at the National Television and Radio Company. He served effectively as a director, chief director and as the author and host of the popular program, bringing hundreds of projects to life.
The television films “Spring Will Not Return”, “I Am Searching”, “Listen to Your Heart”, “Debate”, “Three Roots”, “The Affairs of the World” gained wide audience recognition for their national spirit, profound content and sincere style.
His contributions to art were highly recognized — he was awarded the honorary title “Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan” and the orders “Labor Glory” and “Friendship.”
The simplicity of the renowned artist, his wisdom, his caring mentorship for the younger generation and his contribution to the development of television will undoubtedly live long in the memory of those who knew him.
