Rapper Cartwright's widow Marina, who dissected his body, was sentenced to 12.5 years in prison

The court sentenced the widow of rapper Andy Cartwright (real name - Alexander Yushko) Marina Kochal to 12.5 years in prison. She was found guilty of murdering her husband and desecrating the body of the deceased, writes Pravilamag.

"We are glad that he is going to places where he is isolated from society, under the supervision of guards, and not for a walk in the courtroom. "We believe that the verdict meets the principles of justice," said Anton Kobit, a lawyer for Yushko's relatives.

Now Cartwright's dismembered body was found in an apartment in St. Petersburg at the end of July 2020. According to the investigation's version, Kochal killed Cartwright no later than July 29th by injecting him with an insulin analog during the conflict. Then he tore his body into pieces.

Kochal herself claimed that Cartwright died from drug overdose, after which she decided to hide her husband's death from fans. The woman did not admit her guilt.
