Mukhammadiso Abdulkhairov expressed a strong opinion against regionalism

Actor Mukhammadiso Abdulkhairov sharply criticized the habit of reacting on the roads based on car license plates or where people are from. He says that the question "where are you from?" often serves not as a harmless curiosity, but to isolate people from the inside. The actor, not hiding his dislike for this question, emphasized that such an approach leads to the division of society.
According to Abdulkhairov, a person's nationality or origin is evident from their appearance: "I'm not from Mexico or Spain - I'm from Uzbekistan, it's obvious," he says. According to him, if the interlocutor is from Samarkand and says that he is also from Samarkand, the relationship will immediately warm up. However, if the name of another region is mentioned, attention may decrease. This, as he emphasized, unknowingly leads to nationalism.
The actor spoke bitterly about how we evaluated each other on the roads even by car license plates. "We're gnawing at ourselves," he says. According to Abdulkhairov, neither the people of Fergana nor Kashkadarya are strangers - we are all one, children of one Motherland. As we serve together in difficult situations, we should not separate each other even in everyday life.
