Zayn Malik, a former One Direction member and current solo artist, is delighting fans with his fifth studio album, "Konnakol." The album will be officially released on April 17, 2026.
The lead track from the new album - "Die for Me" - was released on February 6 and quickly gained popularity among music lovers.
Zayn called the album "my most personal project." According to him, the album "Konnakol" is directly related to the culture and heritage of South Asia. On the album cover, a snow leopard is depicted - this is also one of the important symbols of the region.
Zayn performed several new songs from the album for the first time at a special resident show in Las Vegas. Fans had the opportunity to listen to parts from the album in special audio booths on the show.
Before the album's release, Malik stated that he was making a new turn in his musical direction, turning to national roots. He expresses the ideas of heritage, culture, and personal growth not only through his music, but also through the concept of the album.
