Actress Vazira Yunusova was a guest on the program "O‘zimizning gap". During the conversation, she was asked: "Why did none of your daughters follow in your footsteps?"
The actress recalled the words of her late husband in response.
“My late husband used to say: ‘One actress is enough for one family.’ At that time, we went on tours, had public performances, theater, and shootings. That’s why he did not want another actress in the family,” said the actress.
According to Vazira Yunusova, later her daughter Farangiz, after getting married and becoming a mother, once cried to her mother.
“One day my daughter said: ‘Why didn’t you make me an actress? I could have been an actress too,’ and she started crying. Then I said: ‘Do you want to be an actress? Alright, no problem,’ and gave her a role in the series "Nomus". Let her try,” added the actress.
Her daughter performed very well. The director also said: “She performed very well, she has talent, she will advance quickly.” But after one or two shooting days, on the third day, the director called: “Vazira, Farangiz is not here, we cannot find her.”
I called my daughter. She said: “I am at school. That’s it, I won’t go to the shoot, I didn’t like it.” I felt very embarrassed and had to apologize to the director. I explained: “She is at school, they could have called her from work,” the actress recalled with a smile.
Farangiz also shared her opinion:
“Honestly, waiting a lot on set did not please me. Waiting for hours is very hard. When I asked if my episode came, they said: ‘Not yet, soon.’ Sometimes the electricity went out, sometimes the equipment battery died. A lot of waiting was required. But aside from the waiting, the process was very interesting, I really liked it.”
