Singer Gulikhon Asalkhojayeva was a guest on the show “Omon Omon.” During the conversation, she said that she wanted her son Jahongir to become a diplomat and was initially against him pursuing a career in the arts.
Gulikhon also admitted that when she learned her daughter-in-law Asal was also an artist, she was surprised: “Is there really an artist who does housework and cooks like me?”
She added that when her son chose his wife, he first spoke with his mother, and Asal spoke with her own mother. She noted that Asal’s mother is a very good woman.
After that, Gulikhon emphasized that her daughter-in-law Asal cooks well, has a pure heart, has no bad intentions, does not play tricks, she loves her like her own daughter, and most importantly, her son Jahongir should be happy with Asal.
