Singer Slava forgives the infidelity of her former husband, with whom she lived for 20 years

Russian singer Slava, whose real name is Anastasia Slanevskaya, has spoken candidly about her breakup with businessman Anatoly Danilitsky, saying she has forgiven him despite years of betrayal. The artist revealed in Artem Sorokin’s program that the couple ended their relationship in May 2025 after about two decades together, but her feelings toward him have not disappeared.
During the interview, Slava moved from anger to compassion as she reflected on the painful collapse of the relationship. She admitted that the separation left her deeply hurt and did not hide her emotions, breaking down in tears on camera while recalling Danilitsky’s repeated infidelity over the years. Even so, she chose to speak about him with warmth rather than resentment.
According to the singer, the two no longer live together, but she still feels a strong emotional connection. She said that Danilitsky now lives in an apartment while she stays in their old house, adding that although they are apart physically, their hearts remain united. Her remarks suggested that the breakup has not completely severed the bond formed over many years.
Slava also looked back at the beginning of their romance with unusual frankness. She acknowledged that when the relationship first started, she was partly drawn by hopes of financial support and did not think seriously about a legal marriage. That admission added another layer to her public reflections, showing that she was willing to examine not only her former partner’s actions but her own motives as well.
At the same time, the singer said she is now living intensely and trying to avoid carrying anger onto the stage. She described a hectic personal life and suggested that staying emotionally active helps her continue performing. Looking ahead, Slava plans to finish her current tour and then step back from her career for one to three years. During that break, she intends to focus on rebuilding her old house and spending more time with her grandchild.
Her comments come shortly after another difficult episode in her career. A recent concert in Penza was disrupted by drunken troublemakers who rushed the stage, derailing the performance. Slava has reportedly decided to take legal action against those responsible, while singer Anna Semenovich has already publicly voiced support for her friend.
