Discussions on the decision to make the services of artists and presenters mandatory through the “Tax” application have been widespread on social networks. The Ministry of Culture has issued an official statement on this issue.
It is known that the project was developed by the Ministry of Justice and reviewed together with Uzbekconcert. Although the Ministry has made official objections and suggestions on some points, the document has been put up for public discussion.
At the same time, it is noted that artists are already paying social tax and annual income tax. The ministry supports the ideas of the new project aimed at fairly determining tax rates by category, simplifying processes, and creating favorable conditions for representatives of the industry.
