Today, May 29, state awards were presented at the Ministry of Culture building to a group of artists honored by the President's decree.
Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov also participated, congratulating the creators on their awards and speaking about the attention being paid to the sector.
"It seems this sector was intentionally crippled. The problems that had piled up layer by layer over the years are now gradually being resolved. People who had been working for many years were in a state of despair, saying: 'No one pays attention to me, as long as I get my salary and reach retirement, that's enough.'"
Therefore, today's attention and recognition are aimed at restoring lost prestige, returning the status to society, and bringing true creators back to the forefront. In short, I consider the President's words: 'Act quickly, it's a holiday, let these representatives of the sector be happy, we will recognize them again on Independence Day,' as a decision aimed at supporting talented artists by correctly analyzing today's problems," said Nazarbekov in his interview.
