Well-known actor and director Azamat Ahrorov and his spouse Dilnoza Ahrorova appeared on the YouTube show "Ikkalamiz," where they spoke openly about their personal life, which remained a secret for many years, as well as their family decisions and past mistakes.
The real reason the family was kept secret
According to the actor, there was no serious reason for hiding his marriage from the public. However, the decision was made to avoid fan reactions and various rumors:
— Since I began my creative career before getting married, I thought the fans were not ready for it. Additionally, we kept it a secret to avoid various conspiracies and excessive gossip. I only revealed it to the public after my daughter was born, — he says.
A fight at the wedding and an unexpected event
The actor also recalled that his wedding ceremony in Khorezm was remembered for an unexpected situation. According to him, a fight broke out at the large wedding, which even escalated to a stabbing:
— Thousands of guests attended the wedding. Unfortunately, a fight broke out during the second half. There were even instances where knives were used. At that time, my friends and I were forced to leave the venue quickly, — says Ahrorov.
It was precisely such situations that contributed to him keeping his family hidden from the public for a certain period.
His wife's perspective
Dilnoza Ahrorova stated that she fully supported this decision:
— For me, my personal life was more important than people's opinions. We understood each other and made that decision. The main thing is the peace of the family, — she says.
History of their meeting and marriage
The couple met through cinema. Dilnoza attended a casting while Azamat Ahrorov was working as a director. Later, she participated in films, and their relationship developed through that process.
— I liked her character and manners. That is why I decided to start a family, — the actor says.
Family life and changes
The actor also admitted to giving up certain bad habits in his life. He emphasized that he changed himself significantly, especially after becoming a father:
— After having a daughter, I started looking at many things differently. I disciplined myself for the sake of my family, — he says.
Open talk about gambling addiction
At the same time, he spoke candidly about a habit he has not yet fully overcome — gambling:
— I have quit other bad habits, but it is proving difficult to completely walk away from gambling. This is a serious issue for me, — the actor says.
