Shakira's concert gathers two million fans

Famous Colombian singer Shakira presented a free concert on May 2 at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro. This performance set a record, gathering approximately 2 million people in one place.

It is reported that this concert was held as part of the singer's "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" world tour. Shakira performed her most famous hits on stage and concluded the program with BZRP Music Sessions #53/66.

During the performance, the artist also shared moving thoughts about the strength and resilience of women. Her words were met with applause from the fans.

Concert-goers began gathering on the beach from the early morning. It was noted that a large portion of the audience came not only from Brazil but also from other Latin American countries.

Eduardo Paes (Mayor of Rio) emphasized that this event would bring significant economic benefits to the city, stating that the concert is expected to generate nearly 155 million dollars for the budget.

Experts believe that such free public concerts contribute significantly to the city's development, not only culturally but also economically.
