According to CNN, the US has lost seven warplanes since the start of the Iran campaign.
In the latest incident, on Friday, Iranian air defense forces shot down an F-15 fighter jet during a search operation. At the same time, an A-10 attack aircraft that was rescued by a catapult before the plane crashed was also destroyed.
In early March, the US lost three F-15 fighter jets, which were mistakenly shot down by a Kuwaiti Air Force F-18. All American pilots were able to safely eject and land in Kuwait.
US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced that all pilots continue to conduct raids against targets in Iranian territory.
Also on March 12, a KC-135 tanker aircraft crashed in Iraq. Six crew members were killed, and the plane was destroyed not by enemy fire, but by a collision with another aircraft. However, the crew managed to land safely.
