The U.S. has reportedly spent $25 billion on military operations in Iran, according to Pentagon spokesperson Jules Hurst during a Congressional Armed Services Committee meeting. He noted that a significant portion of this funding was allocated for the purchase of ammunition, although the full breakdown of expenses remains unclear, particularly regarding costs related to the repair and maintenance of military bases. The U.S. and Israel began military operations against Iran on February 28, and currently, a ceasefire is in effect between the parties. Additionally, the U.S. is noted to have deployed extra military forces and airlift groups to the Middle East.
It has been reported that U.S. expenditures for military operations in Iran have reached $25 billion. Pentagon representative Jyuls Xerst announced this while speaking at the Congressional Armed Services Committee.
He noted that the majority of these funds were spent on the procurement of ammunition. However, it was not fully disclosed which expenses were included in the calculation.
In particular, it is unclear whether costs related to the restoration and repair of military bases were included in this amount. According to reports, the U.S. and Israel launched a military operation against Iran on February 28.
