German expert gives high praise to Ukrainian soil

German soil scientist, head and manager of Bayer Handelsvertretung, Jörg Bayer, studied the lands belonging to farms in the Poltava region of Ukraine and gave a high assessment of the region's soil.

Gorizont reported this.

According to him, the soil layer in this area is very fertile, with black soil thickness reaching 70–80 centimeters in some places. The expert emphasized that such natural wealth is a very rare opportunity for agriculture.

Bayer believes that such fertile soil creates a great advantage for farming and significantly increases the potential for high yields. He even noted that German farmers would be ready to give anything for such land.
