Uzbekistan's gold reserves: updated ranking
The World Gold Council (WGC) updated the ranking of countries by gold reserves in the fourth quarter of 2024. According to the data, the largest buyer was the National Bank of Poland, which increased its gold reserves by 42.33 tons.

Countries that increased gold reserves:

Hungary: 15.52 tons
India: 12.88 tons
Turkey: 10.44 tons
Uzbekistan: 8.71 tons
Kazakhstan, however, reduced its gold reserves by 12.85 tons.

World leaders:
The United States remains the leader in gold reserves, holding 8,133.46 tons. Following are Germany (3,351.53 tons), Italy (2,451.84 tons), France (2,436.94 tons), Russia (2,335.85 tons), and China (2,264.32 tons).

Uzbekistan's position in the ranking:
In the second ten of the ranking, Uzbekistan took the position after Poland and Turkey with 382.2 tons of gold reserves. This result is important for ensuring the stability of the country's economy.
