Siemens Energy Increases Revenue by 17%
German energy equipment manufacturer Siemens Energy AG increased its revenue by 17% in the first quarter of the 2025 financial year, with growth observed across all business segments, Interfax reported.

According to the company’s press release, revenue for the past quarter reached €8.94 billion, compared to €7.65 billion in the same period of the previous financial year. However, orders received between October and December decreased by 11%, totaling €13.67 billion, down from €15.38 billion a year earlier.

Siemens Energy’s net profit for the quarter stood at €252 million, a significant drop from €1.58 billion recorded the previous year. The previous year's figure included a one-time income of €1.67 billion from the sale of its stake in an Indian business.

The company’s total order portfolio reached a record-high €131 billion by the end of the year.

According to Siemens Energy’s forecast, revenue—excluding currency fluctuations and portfolio changes—is expected to grow by 8-10% in the current financial year.

On Wednesday, Siemens Energy's shares rose 1.4% during trading. Over the past 12 months, their value has increased more than fourfold.

Siemens Energy was established in 2020 following the spin-off of Siemens AG's industrial division specializing in equipment for gas, coal, and wind power plants. The company operates across the entire energy chain, from power generation and transmission to storage solutions. Siemens Energy’s technologies include both traditional and renewable energy solutions, such as gas and steam turbines capable of running on hydrogen, hybrid power plants, generators, and transformers.

The company operates in more than 90 countries and employs over 92,000 people.
