Crypto exchange Gemini has launched a new AI-powered feature for its prediction markets platform in collaboration with Elon Musk's xAI. This innovation allows users to create personalized feeds. According to the company's statement on Thursday, the solution, called "Command Center," displays markets related to crypto, sports, commodities, politics, economics, and culture based on the user's open positions and watchlists. The "Command Center" analyzes the user's prediction history to provide the most relevant information for future steps. This tool is powered by the Grok model developed by xAI. Amid declining trading volumes and profits in the crypto market, Gemini is one of several exchanges expanding beyond traditional trading into prediction markets and artificial intelligence.
Last month, Gemini enabled users to connect models like ChatGPT and Claude to their trading accounts. This allows for autonomous market monitoring and even trade execution on behalf of users. Although Gemini's prediction market platform currently trails leaders like Kalshi and Polymarket, the company managed to increase its quarterly revenue by 42% to $50.3 million.
The company reduced its net loss by 27% compared to the previous year, bringing it down to $109 million. Gemini continues to position itself not just as a crypto exchange, but as a provider of comprehensive financial services.
