
Gold prices in Uzbekistan continue to rise for the third consecutive day, Kursiv.media reported, citing the Central Bank’s press service. As of April 3, the price of a 5-gram gold bar reached 6.75 million UZS for the first time.
Prices for other bars have also increased: 10 grams now cost 13.5 million UZS, while 20 grams are priced at 27 million UZS.
The Central Bank also updated rates for larger bars: 50 grams — 67.5 million UZS, and 100 grams — 135.1 million UZS.
According to analysts at UBS, gold could reach $3,200 per ounce on the global market by the end of this year.
