Uzbekistan’s presence in global markets is steadily expanding. In January–August 2025, the country’s foreign trade volume grew significantly, increasing by nearly 20 percent compared to the previous year.
According to official data, during this period, foreign trade turnover reached 51.4 billion US dollars. This is 8.5 billion dollars more than in the same period of 2024.
Exports amounted to 23 billion dollars, showing a 31.3 percent increase. Imports reached 28.4 billion dollars, indicating an 11.8 percent growth. These figures confirm that Uzbekistan’s foreign economic relations are consistently developing and that the country’s export potential is rising.
At present, the country has established trade relations with 200 states. Among the main partners, China leads with an 18.9 percent share. Russia accounts for 16.1 percent, Kazakhstan 5.9 percent, Turkey 3.7 percent, and the Republic of Korea 2.2 percent.
These results demonstrate that Uzbekistan’s economic position in the international arena is strengthening, and integration processes are progressing at a stable pace.
