Uzbekistan's economy to accelerate to 7.2 percent in early 2026

The forecast by the Center for Economic Research and Reforms suggests that Uzbekistan's GDP will grow by 7–7.2 percent in the first quarter of 2026.

The main drivers will be business activity, the development of the financial sector, and investments in industry and services. National experts expect growth based on the momentum of 2025, when the country's economy grew by 7.7 percent.
