Driver Who Hit and Killed Pedestrian in Namangan Arrested

Earlier, it was reported that a Gentra driver in Namangan hit a pedestrian crossing the road and fled the scene. According to the regional police department, the driver has now been apprehended.

As a result of swift investigative efforts, both the vehicle and the driver were located. Authorities identified the suspect as a 26-year-old resident of Namangan, born in 1997.

The driver and the vehicle have been handed over to the investigative department for legal proceedings.

The accident occurred on February 11 at around 06:40 AM on Amir Temur Street in Namangan. The unidentified driver, operating a Gentra, struck a pedestrian born in 1958 and immediately fled the scene.
