In the Bukhara region, an individual attempting to steal cattle was apprehended by internal affairs officers with material evidence. It is reported that the incident was uncovered during nighttime preventive measures.
It is reported that on May 20, around 01:30 AM, a black Gentra vehicle traveling on the Bukhara-Kiziltepa road aroused suspicion among law enforcement officers. Preventive inspectors attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused to comply with the legal order and continued driving.
Through prompt operational measures, the vehicle was stopped and inspected. It was discovered that the rear seats of the Gentra had been removed, and a large head of cattle was being transported in the cabin.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the cattle was being secretly taken from one of the farms in the Bukhara district. According to preliminary estimates, the value of the stolen ox is approximately 10 million soums.
According to law enforcement agencies, the suspect is a resident of the Kiziltepa district of the Navoi region, who has a prior conviction for theft.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under the article of the Criminal Code related to theft, and investigative actions are ongoing.
